Peer Support Specialist will facilitate or co-facilitate groups, work individually, or in small groups with peers, and use their personal experience to enhance the relationship and mentor clients. Must be in recovery from a severe and disabling mental illness (SDMI) and/or co-occurring disorder and be willing to share experience with members. Certification is preferred, but not required. Winds of Change is willing to provide certification.
Provide assessment of client, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations for adults and youth. Provide individual and group therapy to clients which is evidence based for their diagnosis and youth. Meet the productivity requirement of seeing clients for 7 hours per day. Complete required paperwork (progress notes, assessments, treatment plans, etc.) before leaving shift. Complete task list each day.
Case Managers serve clients with Severe Disabling Mental Illness (SDMI) and coordinate benefits such as housing and social security. They complete an assessment of client needs and assist with resource referral and treatment planning. Case Managers work with the entire support team to coordinate comprehensive care for clients. Case Managers must follow HIPAA, maintain confidentiality, and meet productivity requirements. A bachelor's degree, relevant experience and valid driver's license is required for this position. Adult Group Home Staff serve clients with Severe Disabling Mental Illness (SDMI) and will be responsible for the daily operations of the house and will have face to face contact with residents including evaluating and assessing barriers to independent or community living, assisting with daily living tasks, supervising and teaching residents meal preparation, assisting with menu planning and grocery shopping, laundry functions, supervising household chores. Must have high school diploma or GED, college level courses in mental health/psych preferred. Applicants must be able to pass a background check, cannot have history of abuse, neglect or exploitation. Shifts are structured in 12 hour increments.
